This week's Crystal Focus is: CITRINE
Citrine is one of the first crystals I personally connected with. When in it's presence I feel lighter, clearer, and more in touch with my spiritual self. At that time in my life I didn't know *why* I felt this way, but I assure you that I did! For me, it was a long time before I understood anything about all of this Crystal Healing stuff that's become so popular, but now that I do, I'd love to share some of the things Citrine can do to help each of us everyday!

Citrine's color range and energy are like the Sun: penetrating, energizing, and life-giving!
Citrine is associated with the Astrological Signs of Gemini, Libra, Aries, and Leo. ( My household has 2 Libras and 1 Aries, so we soak up this energy!)
Keep in mind that everything in this world is connected to everything else, so when we talk about Crystals and how they can help us, by helping ourselves through the natural vibration of energy that crystals can offer, we emit that energy out into the world. It's a simple and amazing thing: learning about a new crystal and using it for healing can really change the WORLD!
The primary Chakra center that is associated with Citrine is the 3rd Chakra: The Power Chakra. The 3rd Chakra is located directly at our Solar Plexus on the body, which is our center of physical and material power. Therefore, Citrine can help us align and balance our physical body with our spiritual bodies. Citrine can help us draw our abundance to us in a powerful way. It helps us to remember that abundance is our divine right. It is a great stone for helping us to manifest and accomplish matters of business, education, interpersonal relationships, and family matters. When used from a consciousness of receiving abundance in order to share it, Citrine can help us manifest our earthly desires. A caveat: if we use Citrine with a consciousness of receiving for the Self alone (Greed or Ego), what we draw to us may not last and/or ultimately bring us sorrow or pain. I think it is important to state here that anytime we use a spiritual tool for personal help, we do so with a consciousness of sharing that Light with others. With this consciousness, we earn what we attract to us.
In addition to helping us with our abundance, Citrine can profoundly help the physical body in other ways. Because it is associated with the Solar Plexus, which is where we store our emotional memories, Citrine can help us re energize the body. Poor digestion, kidney/bladder problems or infections, and constipation are soothed by placing Citrine on the Solar Plexus or 3rd Chakra. Often, the basis of physical problems are rooted in a psychic or emotional area. For example, if a person is constipated and having trouble properly digesting food, it might be a sign that they are having trouble adjusting to external changes or disturbances in their own life. Citrine powerfully and easily breaks up and dissolves the psychic and emotional correlations that create the physical dis-ease.
Citrine is for psychic digestion and assimilation. Its energy helps us process life's events, put them in the right order, and get rid of the waste. This allows us to go with the flow of our life instead of clinging to our own ideas of how it "should" be going.

| Even a small piece of Citrine, like this one, can help profoundly! Don't buy into the hype that a bigger stone = bigger healing. All stones have profound energy, and size does NOT matter!
